Chiesa e Monastero della Purificazione, delle Suore Francescane riformate
  1. Parte del Monastero, Torre e campanile delle Monache di S. Lucia in Selci
  2. Cappelletta antica detta di S. Salvatore

Both the street and the late 16th century church of S. Maria della Purificazione disappeared in the 1870s when the area of which they were part, known as Orto di S. Lucia, was walled off from the rest of the neighborhood. S. Lucia in Selci (1) Plate 143, whose orto (garden) it once was, can be seen in the distance. Behind it is one of the two Cappocci towers belonging to the medieval stronghold which straddled the Via Suburrana (now Via di S. Martino ai Monti). At far left is an aedicula (small shrine) next to the chapel of S. Salvatore (2) according to Vasi, but called S. Maria in Monasterio by Nolli.
