	Our organization, with its mission of promoting Science Art, will serve as a needed bridge between scientists, artists, educators, those in the media, and fellow nonprofit organizations.

This virtual exhibit is an example of how Science Art can expand the interest in and understanding of science discussed at science meeting and conferences. See: Humans, Nature, and Birds: Science Art from Cave Walls to Computer Screens, is a 2008 book on the long history of images of nature that combine science and art. It was published with assistance from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation's Public Understanding of Science and Technology Program.
