Many confuse
Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks especially when
airborne. In contrast to the Cooper's, Sharpie
flight is buoyant, the wingbeats rapid and light.
While soaring, it holds its wings level, and while
gliding holds its wrists barely forward.
