Letter of Intent to Submit Due: May 15, 2015
Proposals Due: June 29, 2015
Introduction
This call for proposals is open to Stanford faculty performing new research that will support the TomKat Center’s mission to make human electricity and transportation systems sustainable. The TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy (TKC) expects to award up to four seed grants through this call. These grants are meant to promote early stage high-risk high-reward research projects with seed funding of up to $100,000 per year for up to two years.
Theme
As part of its mandate to develop sustainable energy systems for the future, TKC actively works to help develop Stanford’s capability related to large scale penetration by sustainable energy systems. This year, TKC is pleased to invite proposals for seed funding of research projects that support Distributed Production and Energy Generation. The intent of this RFP is to fund projects that, if successful, will equip investigators to write credible research proposals to other funding sources based on the results of the initial project.
