Travelers going to the exotic parts
of the world must be aware and be careful of Lassa Fever. Check
weather reports. Droughts or food shortages can force rodent populations
to the cities--making the chances of exposure to Lassa Fever more
likely. Low rainfall or dry seasons find larger populations of
rodents closer to human habitation. If you must go during high
risk times, get vaccinated!!!
