I am a postdoc working with James Landay in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University. My field is Human-Computer Interaction, and my work lies at the intersection of interaction design, inclusivity, and artificial intelligence. My research focuses on representing the needs and preferences of those that are marginalized in mainstream interactive products and services. I currently collaborate with partners in the education and healthcare spaces. My Ph.D. dissertation (advised by Deborah Estrin, Nicki Dell, Malte Jung, and Amon Millner) centered on voice assistant technology with a focus on the needs and preferences of older adults.
I will be joining Olin College of Engineering as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science after completing my postdoc!
