William John Hunke3, born July 30, 1912 in Wadena County, Minnesota, the son of Henry William Hunke2 and Anna Clara (Mautasch) Hunke.

In 1920 and 1930 William lived with his parents on their farm in Rockwood Township, Wadena County, Minnesota. He was attending school in the former year. In the latter year his occupation was given as farm laborer.

In 1935 William lived in rural Wadena County.

He married, March 19, 1938 in —, Cass County, Minnesota, Martha Selina Pajari. She was born August 19, 1919, in —, Wadena County, Minnesota, the daughter of Abraham Pajari Pajari and Hilja C— (Wiitaaho) Pajari.

In 1940 William, Martha and their oldest child lived in Sebeka, Wadena County, Minnesota. William’s occupation was given as auto mechanic.

William and Martha were of Sebeka when their granddaughter Debra died in 1972.

William's last residence was Sebeka, Wadena County, Minnesota. He died October 2, 1995 in Wadena County, Minnesota, and was buried in the Hunkey family section of Calvary Cemetery, Wadena, Wadena County, Minnesota.

Martha's last known address in Minnesota was 501 Main Street NE, Menahga, Minnesota.

Martha's last residence was 16227 Starry Sky Drive, Surprise, Maricopa County, Arizona. She died February 18, 2001, aged 81, in Mehahga, Wadena County, Minnesota and was buried in Calvary Cemetery, Wadena, Wadena County, Minnesota.
