Maryette resided with her parents at 673 Franklin Avenue, Yuba City, in 1953 and 1954. She was a student during these years.

Maryette married, — –, 1957 in —, William J— Prater (Bill). He was born — –, 1935 in —, the son of Ralph Waldo Prater and Myrtle Bertha (Davis) Prater.

The Praters divorced in February 1976.

Maryette was a lifelong resident of the Yuba-Sutter area. She was a clerk for the Sutter County Assessor’s Office for twelve years starting about 1986. She was also a member of the Yuba-Sutter Riding Club and the Yuba-Sutter Sky Club.

In 1988 Maryette was living in Yuba City. She was of Loma Rica, Yuba County, California in 1998.

Maryette Prater died September 1, 1998 at Rideout Memorial Hospital, Marysville, Yuba County, California, at the age of sixty-three. She was survived by her three children and eight grandchildren.
