Were I Only On a Boat
by Brian Kunde
(with apologies to Arlen and Harburg)

Just a year past we were shippin’;
With strangers gaily trippin’;
On the Bay we were afloat.
Now we’re social isolatin’,
And it’s really kinda gratin’
That we can’t be on a boat.
We are all left high and dryus
While hidin’ from the virus,
Surrounded by a moat;
And I think it rather tragic
I can’t do that Old Spice magic
And declaim “I’m on a boat!”
