There was a little man
Showed up one day for tea. I poured him out a cup; He poured it back on me. I offered him a scone; He bounced it off my nose, Then asked me for the time And slipped into a doze. I do not like that man, Nor how he misbehaves. I do not like his look; He plainly never shaves. I don’t care for his snores, Or tendency toward crime, And when and once he wakes, I won’t give him the time. |
