Carl Schildkraut

Hello! My name is Carl Schildkraut. I am a math Ph.D. student at Stanford University, where I am very fortunate to be advised by Jacob Fox. Previously, I was an undergrad at MIT, where I received a B.S. in math with a minor in computer science.

My main mathematical interests are in the fields of extremal and additive combinatorics. I particularly like problems which connect combinatorics to other areas of math, such as group theory and analytic number theory.

Recently, I've been interested in combinatorial problems in non-abelian settings and in connections between graph theory and discrete geometry.

My research is currently supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
