I am a PhD candidate at Stanford University studying cell, molecular, and organismal biology. I work in the Prakash Lab, where I am funded by the NIH/NIGMS Cell and Molecular Biology Training Program, and the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program. I study collective cell behavior in simple multicellular systems.
I graduated from Yale University in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, and in English Literature. During my time at Yale, I had the opportunity to work with Thierry Emonet, Martin Ackermann (at ETH Zurich), and Mark Gerstein. Through these research experiences, I developed an interest in collective cell behavior, along with skills in experimental biology, computational genomics, and mathematical modeling.
