Writing in the Service-Learning "Contact Zone"

Writer and Lecturer, Carolyn Ross has taught at Stanford since 1988. She has her B.A. in English/Education from Skidmore College and her M.F.A. in English from the University of Oregon. As a poet, fiction writer, essayist, and text book author, Carolyn teaches writing from a writer's perspective. Writing texts that she has written include Writing Nature: An Ecological Reader for Writers and Writing for Real: A Handbook for Writers in Community Service (Longman, 2003), co-authored by Ardel Thomas.
