€ What are your feelings about your home community (that is, where you are from)? What are your feelings about your new community, if you are attending college away from home?

€ Why do you want to "serve"? Why are you participating in a service-learning class? Have you done other service work in the past? Is any of your past work related specifically to the agency's mission?

€ What's your understanding about the work your agency does in the community? What's your understanding of the nature of that community, or the clientele your agency serves, and your background and experience with them? How does your agency's work intersect with your interests? € Do you have any questions about your agency's work or the community or clientele it serves that you look forward to asking when you meet? € What are you looking forward to in your community-based writing in comparison to other writing (for example, academic, practical, or personal) that you've done?

€ Do you have any special skills or interests you hope to bring to your work with the agency? For example, are you bilingual? Do you have web authoring skills?
