The Progressive (AKA the Leap-of-Faith) Essay

 

PART #2 a

Your first task is to observe -- I mean, really study -- the image that you brought with you to class. What do you notice?

Create a word picture in one paragraph that describes the image clearly, completely, vividly. For this part of the exercise use no more than about 300 words. Keep to description; don't analyze.

When you're finished, click ... and the next step will be revealed in Part #2 b. (Part #2 a and Part #2 b are both due in class on Tuesday, January 14.)

By the way, I am looking for depth of engagement in the activity and spirit of this exercise; I am not expecting polished writing.
