How to find the hardware address of your network card - on a MAC
Note, confusingly, that Hardware address is also called MAC address, even though it has nothing to do with being a Mac.
1. Open System Preferences
2. Go to Network
3. Highlight either the Ethernet adapter or the Airport card and click "configure"
4. Switch to either the Ethernet or the Airport tab and find the respective ID number
