How to convert degree map units into meters (GCS to UTM)
ArcMAP:
ArcToolbox -> Data Management Tools -> Projections and Transformations -> Features -> Project
Fill in the shapefile and destination folder.
Choose appropriate UTM projection the projection (UTM51S for that specific region in Australia)
The projected layer will appear in the data frame. Save as Layer.
Add a new data frame. Add new data and choose that layer you just created.
Then run V_LITE.
