Travel Information

Airports:  Washington DC area is accessible by three major airports:

1) Reagan National (DCA) - this airport is in DC and has its own stop on the DC Metro line.

2) Baltimore Washington International (BWI) - this airport is located halfway between Baltimore and Washington. 

    This is the closest airport to the wedding site though you will need a car

3) Washington Dulles (IAD) - this airport is in Northern Virginia and is a hub for United.  Many flights go to Dulles

    Parking and access is a little more difficult here (and security lines are often a bit longer).

Hotels:

Wendy and Sherman's parents both live in the town of Rockville, MD, approximately 40 miles from the wedding site. 

There are a couple of stops on the DC Metro Red line in Rockville and it is a convenient place to stay if you are interested in

visiting DC.

The wedding is located in Bowie, MD.  It is a little cheaper to stay in this area though it is not as convenient as Rockville.  There are

some DC Metro stop in the general area but not any one that is particularly close.

We have a rather small place in the San Francisco bay area and not much room for many items.
