Holland Park is west of Kensington Gardens. You can walk from the one park to the other, even when jet-lagged. Sadly, when we arrived at Holland Park, the clouds had closed in. The park contains what is left of Holland House, which was bombed pretty severely during World War II. This former royal palace is now a youth hostel. It has some gardens that are very nicely maintained. The flowers are as big as Angela.
