At the last
minute we had the bright idea of inviting ourselves to visit
Deb's brother and his wife, Don and Norma, in England.
Happily they agreed! We had visited
them in July just after they arrived in Eastling. And
got to experience the long days of summer. We paid that back
on this trip with big storms and short days (sunrise at 8am,
sunset at 3:45pm). We went in to Canterbury, visited the
Hornby Toy Train Museum in Margate and walked the white
cliffs of Dover. And hung out in Eastling. We found out what
happens at US Customs when you check the box "Visited a
farm?". And snagged another Mad Cat Ale beer
(Golden India Pale Ale) to bring back for Tom.
