I. Your model presenters:  

    1) Describe what you like about him or her;

    2) show a part of the talk that reflects this (~ 2 minutes);

    3) Imitate/incorporate it into a sample of your own talk (~ 2 minutes)

Homework for the next class: 

1. Prepare a  presentation for the next class on a topic related to the body of your final presentation (a followup from last week's introduction). It should be 4-6 minutes and include a PPT or other visual support, keeping in mind the role of visuals to enhance, not distract. Be sure to use at least one question and practice formulas for answering questions from the audience. Note that you will need to field questions both during and after the talk, so be prepared.

2. Write the answers to Williams, Lesson 8: (8.1) 4, 8, 12  (8.2) 2--note, create three different endings for this one.

Note: No meeting this week--can double up later if needed
