Once upon a time, in that mystical place called the internet, there lived a fairy. This Lovely lilac lady lived the life of a librarian and due to her love of books, joined a author discussion mailing list, the Mercedes Lackey discussion list to be exact. Once on this list the lovely lavender lynchpin of all things lustful noticed a strange trend. Many were the straight women who swooned over the unavailable...specifically the fictional, the gay, and the dead. So pondering this strange trend, the purple passionate pixie proposed a plan. The plan was this...since so many of the ladies of the channel leered lustfully over the many characters/people on the list who were unavailable, why not play with it. Thus were the ladies of the pink wand born. The basic premise of the ladies is this...there are many Objects of Unrequited Love/Lust for the straight woman to drool over, so why not venerate them as such? The OoUL/L, which include characters from books, movies, and real people (of which I am one *grin*) are worshipped from afar while the available males, dubbed Champions, console the ladies when their lust over comes them. In any case, the whole point of this silliness is that due to this idea I have met many wonderful and dear friends to pal around with. In the bower I am affectionally known as Sean the werefox, one of the original OoULL of the list. This page is devoted mostly to the bower trips and visits of various members to the bay area and the pictures taken there....so enter at your own risk if you don't want to see a bunch of pictures of the most wonderful crazy people in the world!
