Behold The Point

The other day when I was thinking about what to do with this project I was feeling a certain frustration. I was feeling frustrated with people, books, instructions, etc... that explain things with so much added frilliness, that it takes forever to get to the point of what they are actually trying to say. Maybe this feeling was coming from a place of insecurity because I talk simply and wish I could talk more eloquently. But nonetheless, that was the intent behind this project. I wrote a very simple satirical poem to further my want for things to be said simply at the time.

Indubitably, Exquisite.

Its Quintessentially Magnificent,

Undeniably it transcends to gaze upon,

Behold The Point.

I would say that I am not really satisfied with my final project. First off, I thought it was going to be a lot larger than how it turned out to be. It ended up having a lot more white space. I also feel that I didn't capture that abstractedness and the less is more intent behind this project. I feel I could've thought more out of the box on how to capture what I was trying to say while saying less. I definitely have a lot going on. However, I will say I learned a lot. Even though my animations look simple, I had to individually animate every falling dot. I really learned my way around the software. So for that I am grateful. Even if my project doesn't satisfy my artistic desire.
