When to find the nest
- If you want to find a house sparrow's nest look for it from February to July.
- If you want to find a cardinal's nest look for it starting from March or April and ending in the summer.
Loose facts
- A robin's eggs are light blue so if the bird leaves the nest and flies away it finds its nest quickly.
- Birds build nests in different shapes and sizes.
- Female robins build the nests and the male robin gets the materials.
- The hummingbird's nest is the size of half a golf ball.
