nothing beats coming home to british columbia's mountains and forests, though. i'm going to retire near a lake here and paddle out to the middle of it to eat kettle corn with my best friend every day. we shook on it.

...as a background extra. it was the perfect job for a high schooler who loved movies and skipping class. imo, all the reading i did made up for it, though. books were only thing that used to keep me up until 5am (and then college hit, go figure), i didn't skip a single word of les misérables, and the last thing i teared up for was a tale of two cities.
so yes, i love reading 📚 and also board games 🎲 burr & hanayama puzzles 🧩 bad poker with 'good' punishments ♠️ and i currently play an elf warlock 🧙🗡️
now that i've outed myself as a complete nerd, i might as well say: my taste in comics is peanuts, watchmen, anything bat family, american born chinese, and maus.
i'm pretty sure i've read every peanuts strip ever published and i used the entirety of one of my earliest paychecks to buy batman adventures #12--first printing. and the killing joke. and watchmen #1.
