Here are a few pics from our trip to Death Valley (March 23-28). The trip was almost entirely spent on the western side of the park(see map)--car camped at Panamint dry lake bed near four corners mines, at lost burro mines (4600ft) near the Racetrack, at Eureka Dunes, and then back at Panamint dry lake (at the same spot) and on the 5th day, we headed back to Ridgecrest for a good shower and a comfortable bed. 95% of the driving was done on rough, washboard roads and I was pretty impressed by how well Dave's Subaru Forrester handled on the roads. We put in 1300 miles total on this trip. I used my brand new Pentax IST DS 6.1 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera with Pentax 58mm and 100-300mm f/4.7-5.8 AF Lens. Check out the pictures from our PREVIOUS trip to Death Valley. Enjoy!
