Step One: Create Your Own LiveJournal
Go to www.livejournal.com and select "Create an Account" from the "Welcome Menu."
Follow the steps to create your own account.
For the purposes of this class I am smilodon_ca

Step Two: Join Our Class Community
While logged in to your account navigate to the information page of the appropriate section community:

9:00 - Cambria: (http://community.livejournal.com/cambrian_epoch/profile)
10:00 - Jurassica: (http://community.livejournal.com/jurassica10/profile)
11:00 - Pleistocenia: (http://community.livejournal.com/pleistocenia//profile)

Under the heading "Community" you will read the words:
"To join this community, click here."
Click there.
An email will be sent to me to confirm your membership in our community.
Until your membership is confirmed you will not be able to make postings.

Step Three: Send Me Confirmation of Your Account Name
Please send me an email at melissas@stanford.edu with your account name.

Step Four: Comment, Participate, Respond (Repeat)
Navigate to the main page of the community and click at the end of a post to respond.
To make your own posting to the forum, click on the pencil on the information page
You must be logged in to your account to post.
