2 TV appearances on Surgical Simulations
Gave demo to Dr Cameron Nezhat and Dr. Chris Zarins. They will sponsor 2 clinical fellows to work with us on developing new curriculum with simulators. Very interested in developing a simulation for introducing trocars in abdomen.

Robert

Reported on work with Paul Brown on Amira: developed heart, teeth and jaw images

Pat

· Visited Patrick Cregan in Australia to extend invitation to participate in Testbed. Interested but lacking funds. Saw Virtual ICU.

· Reported on SimTect and another conference in New Zealand that may supercede SimTecT

· Catherine Mohr, a research fellow with Dr. Miriam Curet is interested in having students play or practice with LabSim.

David

Introduced Juan Carlos who will be taking on David’s role
Will work on various projects: Sparrow, Access Grid, Anatomy debugging, and Last Mile proposal.

Steve

Finished up RSNA project report. Encouraged Parvati to read so that we can attention of Stanford network admins.
Plans to implement new features of Information Channels
Working on version control and will install a “frozen version” on Elegon.
