Amateur Radio Licensing Class

Amateur radio is a great way to learn and practice signal processing and communications. The first license is Technician, and it gives you full access to all the amateur bands from VHF on up.

The amateur radio club will be running a course to help you get your Technician license. The class will meet Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 in Packard Room 101.

The FCC tests will be given here at Stanford.

We will give you a dual band VHF/UHF 5W handheld radio when you get your license!

A flyer for the class is here

Note the new location! Class will be in Packard Electrical Engineering, Room 101. This is the auditorum on the first floor, directly across from Hewlett, where we were last week.
