My background is in computer science, law, and philosophy, and I currently work at the intersection of technology, ethics, and the law. On the professional side, I focus primarily on blockchain, and on the personal side, I spend a lot of time in the ocean.
Please reach out if you want to talk about blockchain development, blockchain in higher education, archery, or motorcycles. Or, especially, if you want to go fishing and/or surfing!

Profile

My current work focuses on blockchain technology, and I lead the Blockchain Education Initiative through the Stanford CodeX Center for Legal Informatics. This project aims to apply technical education to traditionally non-technical subjects (e.g. law, philosophy, etc.) and emphasizes the development of blockchain research in higher education. In addition, I am a coordinator for RegTrax, an effort devoted to advancing the conversation around regulatory clarity in the blockchain space by collecting, organizing, and analyzing blockchain regulation across the world.
I am also a part of the CodeX Blockchain Group, a wordwide collection of blockchain stakeholders. Through the Blockchain Group, I co-host the Our Data podcast, and, along with the rest of the Blockchain Group core team, organize and produce the Earth2030 Conference Series.

None of these projects would be possible without the support of the Stanford Law School CodeX Center for Legal Informatics. I also highly recommend exploring the Stanford Journal of Blockchain Law & Policy, another fantastic CodeX initiative.
