Research Activities (in 2008)
- C2S2 - Center for Circuit and System Solutions - Project with CMU, Prof. Rob Rutenbar.
A multi-university research center chartered by the semiconductor industry and U.S. Dept. of Defense to develop long-range solutions for the design challenges arising from semiconductor device scaling.
- Bio-Implant Techology - Stanford Center for Integrated Systems: Rethinking Analog Design
An integrated silicon implant technology that combines research on medical devices, algorithms and integrated circuits for the design of in-body implants with wireless data and power transfers at minimum power consumption.
- Neural Signal Processing - Stanford Neural Prosthetic Systems Laboratory
This Stanford research group conducts neuroscience and neuroengineering research. The main focus is on the design of neural prosthetic systems that interface with sensory-motor neural representations to assist disabled patients. This work includes signal processing, estimation and control algorithm design as well as system modeling and low-power circuit implementation.
