LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION: INSTRUCTIONS

KEY POINTS: Letters of recommendation are written only during the month of August.

Information from you to me should be provided at least 2 weeks before August 1.
Only confidential letters will be written.
I don't make prior commitments regarding the tone or content of the letter, but I do warn students if I feel my letter would be negative.
  The information requested below is required before a letter of recommendation will be written:
  MCAT/GREscores
  Current (unofficial) copy of your transcript
  Personal statement
  Resume (if available) and any other information you consider pertinent.
  List of other people recommending you.
  List of schools to which you will be applying.
Please send all information via email to wine@stanford.edu with a copy to rittler@stanford.edu.
In subject line, put "wine-letrec materials for [your name]  SECURE"
