Comments:

The milky way in the constellation Sagittarius is home to many beautiful summer deep sky objects. We are also looking in the direction of the center of our galaxy. The center is believed to be about 30000 light-years away.

The bright light trail on lower right is that of Seguin lighthouse along the Maine coast. The streaking is produced by the camera movement in tracking the stars during the roughly one hour of exposure.
