This website is designed to help you increase your knowledge about guitars. I have included information about 3 different guitars. Every guitar is similar but each has their own unique personality. Guitars can be used in so many different ways to create so many different kinds of music.
The First Guitar
Nobody knows when the first guitar was actually made its history is still a mystery(Intheknow 2) Most believe the shape either came from the instruments the oud and lute though these had curved backs and long necks(Intheknow 8). Around the 15th and 16th centuries musicians in Spain began to use instruments that looked a lot more like the guitars we use today(Intheknow9).Two centuries after the guitars invention a german-born American guitar maker created the standard acoustic guitar we see today(Intheknow15).
