Whole Body FDG-PET
Multiple foci of increased FDG metabolism are evident (arrows). These are most prominent in the right lower quadrant and in the periaortic nodes. Study is highly suspicious for recurrence of disease in these areas.

Follow-Up
On follow-up, surgery confirmed the metastatic omental disease and the periaortic nodal involvement. Note that by performing an FDG-PET study prior to surgery, attention can then be focused on the appropriate surgical sites of both the primary tumor and metastases.
