This year, Stanford Diwali will be held on Sunday, November 12, from 4 pm to 7:30 pm at the Memorial Church on Stanford campus.

An excellent time for Frosh to get to know more about the Hindu Students Association,
meet its current members, and meet fellow Frosh who have similar interests. This is a
great way to expand your network and make friends with new people!

Maha Shivratri
For Maha Shivratri, the HSA takes a trip to UC Berkeley to celebrate the event
with Berkeley’s Hindu Shishya Association. We enjoy performances and speakers,
and then even go out to dinner together!

Project Bhudevi
Project Bhudevi is a beach cleanup project organized by the national Hindu Students
Council. Students from various universities get together at a predetermined beach to
help reduce the waste going into the ocean.

Stanford Berkeley MeetUps
Once every few months, the Stanford HSA and Berkeley HSA meet up at a beautiful
and calming location to make new friends and discuss various topics related to
Sanatan Dharma. These meetups prove to be fruitful for both organizations due to
the increased sense of community between the two clubs as well as the transfer of
information that helps educate everyone in attendance about different aspects of
Hinduism.
