_Do we have an obligation to the poor when we're choosing things like our vocation, classes, and what to buy at the grocery store? And if we do, how should that obligation change the way we make those decisions?
"All four years of college were this fruitless search for me. I kept trying to put things together, but I couldn't. I went to grad school to tread water." said Stanford Alum David Klaus while describing his struggle with questions like the above. This year's Veritas Forum is for those of us who are asking questions similar to David's. Whether we are Christians, non-Christians, figuring out what we believe, undergrad or grad students, this chance to reflect on our relationship to poverty with the help of two leading experts will doubtless prove an interesting (and maybe even formative) experience.
