Dr. Stell has been a biostatistician at Stanford since 2013. She received her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University and later earned an M.S. in Statistics at Stanford. She is particularly interested in statistical modelling and inference, variable selection, and multiple hypothesis testing. She has experience analyzing a wide variety of data, including genotypes, mRNA-seq, and methylation. Dr. Stell has collaborated with clinicians and laboratory researchers as well as statistical geneticists, including developing statistical methodology.
