Related Technologies: Cellular Games

In an effort to expand our sense of possible uses for mobile devices, we have performed feature reviews on several mobile device-based interactive products that will inform the implementation of features of our future product. We are focusing on interactions that a mobile phone affords that are not currently available to traditional phone therapy systems. We've separated our test games into three categories of interaction schemes: robotic conversations, life simulations & environment interactions.

Robotic Coversations:

SimSimi: An instant messaging system which utilizes a natural-language emulator that is designed for use by children in Korea.

Life Simulations:

The Sims 2 Mobile: A simulated modern-day life in which one must monitor moods and behaviors so that the characters will achieve their life goals.

BubuAvatar: A screen based, mobile device game that requires players to care for and train an avatar for a series of challenges.

Enviroment Interactions:

The Go Game: A location-based adventure game that uses mobile-devices to facilitate interactions between players and their immediate environment.
