Thanksgiving in the world today has a different meaning then it did back when the Pilgrims celebrated it. In the current world, Thanksgiving is a mainstream holiday, at least in the United States, and is celebrated by many people. People use this holiday to give thanks for the blessings that they get in life, but most importantly people celebrate Thanksgiving by having a massive feast with family. This is what Thanksgiving is most known for eating with family and friends around the dinner table.
