According to Britannica,Modern anime began in 1956 and found lasting success in 1961 with the establishment of Mushi Productions by Osamu Tezuka, a leading figure in modern manga, the dense, novelistic Japanese comic book style that contributed greatly to the aesthetic of anime. Furthermore,Early anime films were intended primarily for the Japanese market and, as such, employed many cultural references unique to Japan. For example, the large eyes of anime characters are commonly perceived in Japan as multifaceted “windows to the soul.” Much of the genre is aimed at children, but anime films are sometimes marked by adult themes and subject matter.
Some of my favorite animes include: Bungou Stray Dogs, Death Note, Parasyte: The Maxim, Hunter x Hunter, Sword Art Online, Naruto, and Fruits Basket.For example, one of the animes I mentioned Hunter x Hunter is a really popular anime in Japan and the world.It follows a story of a 12 year old who travels all over the world to find his father. While traveling he finds many friends and enemies. The anime is very popular among all ages Another one of my favorites is Fruits Basket, this anime is a fantasy-romance. The story is that after this high school girl is left homeless and an orphan. Some guys from her school see her homeless, and offer her a place to stay. After living with the guys, she realizes their family isn't normal, and that they can turn into animals when they hug the opposite sex. It is a nice story I enjoyed because of the main character's way of connecting with everyone and the romance.
