Education 303X: Spring 2007

Throughout the quarter, we will work with designers and decision makers at institutions that are designing real spaces and experiences for real learners. Below are some of the organizations that we will work with.

These are also sites that teams can partner with for their group project.

• I Have a Dream Foundation, East Palo Alto Community Based Organization dedicated to helping underserved children attend college
• Kaboom! - organization that designs and builds playgrounds for underserved communities around the US.
• Palo Verde Elementary School
• The National Zoo, Smithsonian Institution
• Stanford Student Computing The group on campus responsible for dormitories and libraries
• Cantor Center for Visual Arts
• T'enna PreSchool
• Hewlett Packard HP's new Halo system has bleeding edge videoconferencing technology - they are looking for some creative thinking in how this immersive environment could suport learning.
