Lectures

The class will generally meet on Mondays and Wednesdays except under special circumstances where a substitute or supplemental lecture is called for.

Time and Location: 15:00 to 16:20 in Hewlett 103.

Project

There will be a final project that entails either studying an idea from the literature and exploring its relation to concepts studied in class or carrying out simulation studies to elucidate a concept studied in class.

Grading

Students are expected to actively participate in class, work on lecture notes, and become immersed in a final project. If you are concerned about precise grading criteria, this is probably not the right class for you. There will be no exams.
