RAD228: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Programming Topics

Spring 2015-2016

Overview

RAD228 is an introduction to MRI pulse sequence programming on GE scanners, including EPIC (Environment for Pulse Programming in C) and reconstruction programming examples. The course is mostly self-study, and will include high-level lectures (pre-recorded), in-class sessions at the MRI scanners and lab assignments.

EPIC is a challenging programming environment and MRI scanners are very complicated systems. A substantial amount of this course is learning debugging skills, working in groups, and running the MRI scanner. Simply auditing lectures will not enable you to learn EPIC. See Course Info for full information, including prerequisites.
