Clinical History

66 year old male with grand mal seizures beginning on 10/87 and focal seizures beginning 5/88. Mental status changed in 9/88. Rt. parieto-temporal glioblastoma was diagnosed and resected on 1/5/89, followed by 8 weeks of radiation.

Due to a change in clinical status, a PET scan was ordered on 6/7/89 to access recurrence of tumor vs. radiation-induced necrosis.
