I figured it would be a good idea to put up the kinds of people we can get ahold of (especially since I have class on thursday afternoon and can't mention this at the meeting):

Rebecca: solidly middle class conservative middle-American from Kansas, in a pretty wide range of ages: young parents with children, young marrieds or singles, parents with grown children (My uncle used to be a fireman and now sells ammunition to gun stores, BUT he uses the internet, CDs, DVDs, and other tech gizmos a lot, so he's probably a pretty good candidate for a view we can't get in san francisco), and grandparents.

A similar age range (but no young parents with children) for Western New York and Chicago, white collar moderately liberal WASP-y and white collar moderately liberal jewish, respectively.
