Self Hosting Drupal 7 on AWS EC2 with an RDS back end for high availability
Track(s):
Development Speaker(s):
I will demo how to host your drupal on Amazon Web Services (AWS) t1.micro EC2 instance in the US West 2 data center on an Ubuntu server OS. Then I will proceed to install Apache and PHP and then start up a Mysql RDS (Relational database service) instance.
After that I will download drupal and step by step install drupal on the t1.micro instance for the app and connect it to the RDS for the database.
If I have time I will show you how to clone your web/app server so that you can fire it off at will.
