Stanford Down with Gravity is the place to juggle at Stanford. We are comprised of Stanford undergraduate and graduate students. We were founded in 2001, and even now, more than 15 years later, we still get together every week at 5 pm on Fridays to practice juggling. We welcome new members and love sharing our passion with anyone who wants to learn how to juggle. Feel free to drop by--especially if you have no experience with juggling. We will provide all of the equipment you need. It’s completely free! Last but not least, we also perform. Please message or call us if you are interested in us performing at your event.
Logan has been a part of Down With Gravity for two years and considers the club to be an integral part of her Stanford experience. She is excited to be running Down With Gravity alongside Shreyas and Michael, and she has big aspirations for the year to come. In her free time, she enjoys juggling, watching videos about juggling, teaching people how to juggle...you get the idea.
Shreyas (Stanford '22) studies biomedical computation during the day and well... during the night as well, I guess. He started juggling for the first time at Stanford when he saw DWG practicing at Admit Weekend.... he promised himself he would get involved and he did. He's excited to work with Logan and Michael to make this a fantastic year for DWG and increase its notoriety around the world as THE ultimate juggling community.
Michael is one of Down With Gravity's newest members. He stopped by the club one Friday during Spring Quarter and was suprised by how fun and addictive juggling was. After two weeks of practice, he could consistently juggle three balls. In addition to juggling, Michael spends his time debating, writing software to analyze debate tournaments, and eating meat.
