Getting to IWMO 2025
Airports
- San Jose International Airport (SJC)
Driving: 25 minutes to Palo Alto
Public transit: 50 minutes to Palo Alto
- San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
Driving: 30 minutes to Palo Alto
Public transit: 1:15 to Palo Alto
Travel from airports to Palo Alto/Stanford University
- Uber or Lyft is most efficient (cost: $50 from SFO, $50 from SJC)
- Taxi is also possible but more expensive and less comfortable
- Public transit
This is the least expensive option but takes the most time. Please use google map directions. This will instruct you to take the train to Palo Alto (The train from SFO is called BART, which is a short ride to the Caltrain commuter train that will take you to Palo Alto). From SJC, you will be instructed to take Caltrain to Palo Alto.

Transportation to the venue from your hotel can be done via the free Marguerite Shuttle,
a system map of which can be found
here. You can
also seek directions to campus using Google Maps which will show you
which shuttle to take.
Parking
Visitor parking is available next to the workshop building in the
Via Ortega Garage or the
Roble Field Garage. Parking is paid
with the ParkMobile app.
