#64. Dutch Flat Station

HISTORIC:

The water in the foreground seems to be running through a ditch, perhaps for use in hydraulic mining.

Crofutt p. 166 “Dutch Flat, commonly called German Level, the station for the town of that name. Elevation, 3,043 feet.”

MODERN:

The regrowth of the forest now prevents replicating the view of the site of the Dutch Flat station from Hart’s original perspective.
